If you follow Isibaya episodes, you’ll realise that Mpiyakhe Zungu’s life has never been the same after the passing away of his daughter.
It seems like he has lost the biggest part of his life. There were moments where he would have epileptic episodes and hear his daughter’s voice calling.
Mpiyakhe had recently made Sibongile his third wife and their honeymoon was supposed to be cancelled due to the sudden murder of their daughter.
However, as we know him, he decided to take his wife on a honeymoon regardless of how he felt.
It is discovered that the couple was on a honeymoon but Mpiyakhe was in the hospital instead.
On the other hand, upon his arrival, the Zungu household is upside down. Jabu has gone back to using drugs and alcohol, Thokozani has a murder hanging over her head and has gotten Qaphela involved. While Melusi wants to play bodyguard to his mother and tries to keep Fenyanya away from his now single mother. Mkabayi is giving away some of the Zungu taxis to the Ngubane’s.
